Setup and Care

Station placement and initial mapping:

Position the OMNI Station against a wall on a flat, hard surface with clearance on each side for the robot to dock. Connect the power cable and fill the clean water tank. Install the dust bag. Place the robot on the station to charge fully. Download the ECOVACS HOME app and follow the in-app prompts to connect the robot to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Run the initial mapping session to create a floor plan of your home.

Configuring rooms, cleaning modes, and Carpet First:

After mapping, use the app to label rooms, draw no-go zones, and create cleaning schedules. Enable Carpet First to ensure all carpets are vacuumed before hard floor mopping begins. Activate DeepClean mode for two crisscross passes on heavily soiled areas. AI ReMop 2.0 works automatically to identify stubborn stains and schedule additional mopping passes over those zones.

OMNI Station operation and mop tray maintenance:

The station operates automatically after each cleaning session. The robot docks, the station empties the dustbin, washes the OZMO ROLLER with temperature-controlled water, and dries it with 45°C hot air in approximately 2 hours. The 150-day maintenance-free mop washing tray requires disassembly and cleaning only 1-2 times per year. Monitor the app for alerts when the dust bag is full or water tanks need attention.

Roller, brush, and filter maintenance:

The OZMO ROLLER mop self-cleans during every use and is washed at the station after every session. Replace the roller when it shows visible wear (approximately every 3-6 months depending on usage). The ZeroTangle 3.0 main brush requires minimal manual maintenance but should be inspected monthly. Replace dust bags and filters as prompted by the app. Keep the AIVI 3D sensors on the front of the robot clear from dust for optimal obstacle avoidance accuracy.
