Haier X Series 5 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer with Wi-Fi and A++ Rating

Efficient drying that respects your fabrics:

This Haier heat pump tumble dryer carries an A++ energy rating and uses a heat pump inverter system to recycle warm air throughout each cycle, keeping running costs lower than standard condenser dryers. The 126-litre stainless steel Pillow Drum features laser-welded seamless pads that protect garments from snagging, making it suitable for everyday loads as well as more delicate items.

Smart drying with I-Time and the hOn app:

The I-Time function monitors moisture levels continuously and stops the cycle automatically once clothes reach the ideal dryness level, so there is no risk of overdrying or wasted energy. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity lets you control and monitor cycles remotely through the hOn app on your smartphone. When clothes are at the right humidity for ironing, the Iron-Ready Alert notifies you at 6% residual moisture so nothing sits waiting in the drum.

Low Temp Dry and Hygienic Care programmes:

The Low Temp Dry setting dries at just 32°C, which is particularly useful for woollens, delicates, and mixed fabric loads that would not tolerate higher heat. The Hygienic Care programmes are independently certified by VDE to remove 99% of bacteria, making this dryer a practical choice for households with young children or anyone with allergy concerns.

Everyday practicality built in:

Fifteen programmes cover the full range of household laundry, including Quick 30', Wool, Hygiene, and I-Refresh, with three temperature settings and a delay timer adjustable from 1 to 24 hours. The 3-in-1 Filter sits in the door for easy access and cleaning, and indicator lights alert you when the filter needs attention or the water tank is full. A child lock and automatic power-off function are included as standard.

Setup and Care

Positioning and ventilation:

Place the dryer on a firm, level floor with adequate space around the unit. As a heat pump condenser dryer, no external venting is required - condensed water collects in the removable tank or can be drained continuously via the included exhaust water pipe. The machine operates correctly in ambient temperatures above 5°C.

First use and registration:

Register your appliance with Haier within 28 days of purchase via the Haier warranty portal to activate the full 5-year guarantee and 10-year parts coverage. Download the hOn app and connect via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to access remote control, programme customisation, and the Favourite settings function.

Filter and water tank maintenance:

Clean the 3-in-1 Filter after every cycle - it is located in the door and lifts out without tools. Empty the water tank regularly; the water tank full indicator will alert you when it needs attention. Keeping the filter clear maintains drying performance and protects the heat pump system.

Programme selection guidance:

Select Low Temp Dry for woollens, delicates, and mixed fabric loads to protect fibres at 32°C. Use the Hygienic Care programme for towels, bedding, or any items where bacteria removal is a priority. The Quick 30' programme is suited to lightly used garments that need a fast refresh between washes.
